Introduced in April 2023, this program offers a powerful way to support the protection of North Florida’s irreplaceable natural environment and preserve our region’s quality of life. Your participation directly funds essential efforts—from conserving precious lands and caring for natural habitats to sustaining our daily operations. Plus, you’ll gain an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at how your support drives meaningful impact every day.

 

Membership activities

Annual members have the unique opportunity to interact with the work of NFLT by participating in field trips to private properties (NFLT fee-owned and conservation easements) and small group outdoor excursions throughout northeast Florida.  Past activities have included private screenings of conservation documentaries, kayak tours through the salt marsh along the Florida Intracoastal Waterway, and a virtual education series on far-ranging topics such as prescribed burns, how we choose properties to protect, sea turtle conservation efforts, and more.  To view the current calendar of member events, click HERE. 

 

Membership advantages

Membership starts at just $45/year, making the program an affordable means to make a difference, with a front row seat to the action.  All annual members enjoy NFLT’s monthly e-newsletter, early access to NFLT news and announcements, a subscription to NFLT’s bi-annual newsletter Landscapes, early invitations and special pricing for NFLT events, special pricing on NFLT merchandise, and an invitation to our annual member appreciation event.  Additional benefits of membership are outlined below by membership level:

 

 

No matter your capacity to give, there is a membership level for you.  You can even pay in installments! Payment plans are available starting at the Protector level. All memberships are valid for one year and expire on the last day of the 12th month of membership. No refunds, extensions, or exchanges on benefits will be granted if for any reason you are unable to utilize your membership benefits during its active term.
