Tuesday, April 22 – HIKE – Earth Day special – Florida Trail through Smith Lake Preserve in Keystone Heights
Smith Lake Preserve – 5525 Christian Camp Rd, Keystone Heights
Kick off Earth Day with NFLT at the home of the NFLT Stewardship Dept. as we unveil brand-new interpretative panels along the 2-mi stretch of the Florida Trail that winds through the property. Please let us know that you’re coming by emailing Abby Carden at acarden@nflt.org and plan to arrive between 10-10:15. The reveal ceremony will begin at 10:30 with the one-hour hike to follow.
Tuesday, April 29, 12 – 1 P.M. Ribault River cruise (meet at Bert Maxwell Boat Ramp)
NFLT Members are invited to a Ribault River cruise with St. Johns Riverkeeper Executive Director Jimmy Orth and NFLT staff. There is a $10 fee to attend this event and advanced registration is required. Visit this link to learn more and sign up — only a few spots remaining!
Saturday, May 3 – KAYAK – Sixmile Creek
Meet at Outback Crab Shack – 8155 CR 13 N, St. Augustine
Kick off your day with a paddle and a purpose! Join the NFLT Stewardship and Development teams as we take a scenic kayak adventure along NFLT’s 200+ acre Sixmile Creek property. We’ll meet at Outback Crab Shack at 9 A.M., load in, and set out for a 1-hr guided tour on the water. Registration is required and space is limited — sign up here.

Join us at Episcopal School of Jacksonville’s Bryan Library as the students showcase their photographs this Earth Day.
