NFLT invites amateur photographers to enter our 2025 Conservation Photo Contest! The winning photo will be featured on the cover of our 2025 Annual Report, sharing your unique view of the wild beauty we work to protect.

What We’re Looking For:

πŸ“Έ Wildlife native to North Florida*

πŸ“Έ Stunning landscapes of our region

πŸ“Έ Nature in action β€” From seasonal changes to birds in flight and everything in between

*No staged or captive wildlife

Who Can Enter:

Amateur photographers only (non-professionals, hobbyists, students, enthusiasts, all of the above!)

All ages welcome; under 18 requires parental consent

Submission Guidelines:

πŸ‘‰ Up to 3 entries per person

πŸ‘‰ Β High-resolution (300 dpi), color JPEG or TIFF files

πŸ‘‰ No AI-generated or heavily manipulated images but cropping and light editing is allowed

πŸ‘‰Β  Include your name, email, photo title, location photo was taken, and a short caption

Criteria (Scored 1 to 5):

βœ… Must be an original, previously unpublished photo

βœ… Relevance to Theme β€” Does it capture the spirit and essence of North Florida’s wild places?

βœ… Creativity β€” We will be looking for an original perspective, unique moment, and artistic composition

βœ… Technical Quality β€” Sharpness of image, lighting, clarity, composition

βœ… Impact β€” Does the photo evoke emotion or tell a story? Does it inspire an appreciation of nature?

Midnight, Sunday, November 9, 2025

Prizes:

The winning image will be featured on the cover of NFLT’s 2025 Annual Report along with a photo credit and short feature.Β  The winner will also receive a Champion level membership for calendar year 2026 and a NFLT swag bag.

Honorable mentions will be featured in our Winter 2026 edition of Landscapes as well as on our website and social media (always with credit).
