A New Giving Society for Friends of NFLT

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2024, the North Florida Land Trust (NFLT) is proud to introduce the Silver Spoonbill Giving Society. This exclusive opportunity honors our most passionate supporters—individuals, families, and foundations—who play a vital role in advancing our mission to protect and preserve North Florida’s unique natural landscapes.

The Silver Spoonbill Giving Society is inspired by two significant symbols: the metal silver, associated with 25th anniversaries because of its durability, strength, and beauty, and the spoonbill, which is central to our logo and embodies the essence of NFLT. Together, they reflect our commitment to creating a lasting impact in North Florida.

The objectives of the Silver Spoonbill Giving Society are to strengthen donor leadership, cultivate a vibrant community of like-minded supporters, and establish an engaging network for those who share our vision. The Silver Spoonbill Giving Society is dedicated to recognizing high-level contributions, inviting individuals, families, and foundations who make annual donations of $25,000 or more to join us in this endeavor.

Members will enjoy exclusive engagement opportunities throughout the year, fostering deeper connections and shared experiences among supporters. This initiative will run on a calendar year basis, meaning contributions received between January 1 and December 31 will qualify donors for membership in the Silver Spoonbill Giving Society.

Join us in celebrating this milestone and become part of an extraordinary community committed to the preservation of our cherished landscapes. Together, we can ensure that North Florida’s natural beauty thrives for generations to come.
